Its Whitney 1987 album, featuring Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as popular songs, added to the successes she'd achieved. However, it is The Bodyguard 1992 which cemented her reputation as one the world's most popular artists. While the movie itself and her performances in it weren't widely reviewed, the soundtrack album as well as her version of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the charts for albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies all over the globe.
