Tara Reid, who began making commercials as a child was the subject of headlines after her debut in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Though her acting skills have come under scrutiny, she is without a doubt in a position to play any role she has been in. Her big break came when she played Bunny as Bunny, in The Big Lebowski. This film proved to be an important step in her career and she began to get better offers with films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. However it wasn't American Pie the cult movie featuring sexually explicit teens that put Reid as a promising face for Hollywood with her role as virgin Vicky. This did not lead to a big, lucrative Hollywood career. Reid was unable to become big in Hollywood with movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. An appearance for her in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid is more well-known for her work as a fashion stylist and party girl as an actress than she does for her acting. This stems from her mistakes on screen, the media's attention to plastic surgery and a myriad of other blink-and miss performances.
